Waiting for the bus in the rain. This is one of my very favourite drawings that I have ever done. It is an homage to one of my favourite images from Hayao Miyazaki’s My Neighbour Totoro; it also reflects my love of Vancouver, where I live; and it incorporates public transit imagery, which my son likes; I also like to think of it was being a scene near North Vancouver’s Lynn Headwaters Park, one of my favourite places to hike.

This is an archival quality ink jet print (sometimes called a Gicleé print) on thick hot press watercolour paper. The colours are rich and vibrant and the print quality is second to none.
